Moskal admitted sabotage by local officials

As of Tuesday morning (28.06), village councils of Vynogradiv district have not distributed any money from the funds allocated by the orders of the head of the Regional State Administration Hennadiy Moskal and Vynogradiv district council session for residents affected by the hail. Although the money (a total of over two million hryvnias) were tranferred on the accounts of village councils on Friday (24.06).

– If the funds had been distributed, tomorrow people could receive cash in bank, – H. Moskal said. – However, village and town councils expect that RSA or DSA will distribute the money instead of them. Fearing responsibility, they are sabotaging the distribution of funds.

But the same situation as with discommunization, when the head of the Regional State Administration did all the work instead of local authorities, will not happen again. Our job is to find money and restore social facilities (schools, kindergartens, dispensaries, clubs…). In addition, we are helping local authorities to document the damage caused by the disaster to receive assistance from the reserve fund of the Cabinet. But the distribution of funds is a direct duty of village councils, who know each person affected by hail personally and can determine who should receive financial assistance and in what amount. I call the village councils of Vynogradiv district villages affected by the disaster to urgently convene sessions and distribute the money among the villagers. So that already tomorrow people could receive cash and use it to restore their homes.
