More than UAH 216.5 million was paid to the budget of Uzhgorod in the first quarter of this year. This is a quarter more than planned.
The increase in revenues compared to the same period in 2015 amounted to nearly UAH 62.5 million. In the first quarter of 2016, budget revenues were as follows: transfers – 42.5%; general fund revenues – 46.3%; special fund revenues – 11.1%, while last year transfers totaled 50.5%, revenues of the general fund – 43.1%, of the special fund – 6,4%. The positive trend in reduction of transfers as budget revenues indicates fiscal growth of the city, the head of the financial department Lesya Hakh said.
The most significant source of revenues (58.3%) in the structure of the city budget general fund is the income tax, the actual revenues of which for the first quarter amounted to UAH 58.5 million. Also, a significant portion of revenues accounted for the single tax (15.4%) in the amount of UAH 15.5 million; excise tax (12.7%) – UAH 12.7 millon; land tax (8.6%) – UAH 8.7 million. These mandatory payments as the state fee, rent for municipal property, administrative fees and property tax accounted for only 5% of the total revenues of the general fund budget.
