More than three thousand cars have been cleared under the new law – Transcarpathian customs

Since November 25, 2018, after the introduction of changes in the tax and customs legislation, as of January 10, 2019, 2375 vehicles have been cleared in the "import" customs mode at the Transcarpathian Customs. This brought to the state budget over UAH 191.4 million in revenues. The average customs value of such cars is 3,700 U.S. dollars. Also, 631 cars, that were imported into the customs territory of Ukraine in "transit" or "temporary import" customs modes, have been cleared. Owners of these cars paid to the state budget more than UAH 40 million in customs payments and UAH 5.3 million of voluntary fines. The average customs value of these cars is 2,100 U.S. dollars

More than 90% of cars have the customs value of up to 10,000 U.S. dollars

We also remind that on December 21, 2018, the Temporary Procedure for the Execution of Customs Formalities in the course of Customs Clearance of Vehicles for Free Circulation in the Territory of Ukraine entered into force.
