Today, July 16, the plenary meeting of the 18th session of the Transcarpathian Regional Council is taking place. The deputies gathered in the meeting room of the regional council, located at Narodna Square, 4, Uzhgorod.
The agenda includes more than fifty issues related to the development of the region during this difficult time of the pandemic, as well as draft decisions on current issues of concern to communities. Those are amendments to the regional budget, to the existing programs in the field of health care, social welfare, cross-border cooperation, physical culture and sports, as well as property.
Also today they will consider the issues of development and effective functioning of the Transcarpathian regional utility company "Uzhgorod International Airport".
In addition, the deputies have prepared and will consider several appeals. Those are "Appeal of the Transcarpathian Regional Council on the abolition of the tariff for natural gas distribution services" and "Appeal of the Transcarpathian Regional Council on the flood relief measures and comprehensive measures to protect the population and territories."
