The leaders of the Hungarian organizations of Transcarpathia appealed to Petro Poroshenko, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Groysman, the Prime Minister, and Andriy Parubiy, the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, with a request to take into consideration the right of the national authorities to learn in their mother tongues during the next consideration of the educational bill that is scheduled for this month.
Recall that representatives of the Hungarians of Transcarpathia and other national minorities of Ukraine have repeatedly appealed on this matter to the President, parliamentarians, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, and so on. In March this year, the People’s Deputy of Ukraine Vasyl Brenzovych, along with other representatives of the Hungarians of Transcarpathia, handed over to the head of the Regional State Administration Hennadiy Moskal the appeal to the President of Ukraine with a demand to prevent the restriction of the rights of national minorities signed by more than 64 thousand Transcarpathians.
