More than 2,000 Ukrainians have crossed checkpoints of Transcarpathia in two days: all are in self-isolation

Today (for the period March 18-19), over 2 thousand Ukrainians have come to Transcarpathia via checkpoints at the borders. This was announced at a briefing by Victor Buryshyn, a representative of the headquarters of the provisional anti-epidemic commission to combat the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus.
According to Victor Buryshyn, all the persons who arrived signed a pledge to go into self-isolation and all underwent temperature screening.
“About 800 people are Transcarpathian region residents. All of them are in self-isolation, information about them was sent to local self-government bodies. Yesterday, more than 1000 people arrived. All information is being processed. The issue of access to this information by the relevant authorities of other regions is being resolved."
The majority of those who come are residents of Chernivtsi, Ivano-Frankivsk regions, the least number are from Donetsk and Kherson regions.
