n July 25, there was the regular meeting of the Admissions Committee of Uzhgorod National University. The subject of the discussion was the admission of applicants to professional testing and analysis of the activity of the Appeals Board. The Executive Secretary of the Admissions Committee Petro Horvat and the Vice Rector on scientific and pedagogical work Igor Korol spoke on the matters.
The top news of the meeting was the publication of the latest data on the number of applications to Uzhgorod National University filed by entrants who wish to acquire various educational degrees and levels in our university.
As of 18.00, 19,690 applications were registered.
Regarding the number of applications submitted by entrants for the educational degree of "Bachelor" (specialist in medical or pharmaceutical field), the leaders are the Faculty of Medicine, the Faculty of Social Sciences, the Faculty of Law. Each of these units has already received more than one thousand applications. The Faculties of International Management and Business Policy, Foreign Languages and Philology are approaching this figure.
The Rector Volodymyr Smolanka concluded that in terms of popularity among entrants, UzhNU is in the top 15 among the universities of Ukraine. We invite prospective students, who have not yet made their choice, to join the university that has bee chosen by the best!
