More than 10,000 packs of cigarettes did not get to Hungary

Another offense at the state border with Hungary was prevented by Chop border guards.Border guards of the "Salovka" department received the information about the possible transportation of contraband tobacco products in advance. During the monitoring of the border in the vicinity of the likely movement of smugglers, the Response Team found a rubber boat and cigarettes of popular brands "FEST", "COMPLIMENT", "LIFA" and "JIN LING" in total of 10,060 packs.The police of Ukraine and their Hungarian colleagues were informed about this incident. Currently, the identities of persons involved in the smuggling of tobacco products are being established.
