Monetization and electronic tickets – public hearings regarding the payment of fare in public transport took place in the almost empty hall of the Uzhgorod City Council

Public hearings on the expediency of introducing cash benefits for payment of fares in all types of public transport took place in Uzhgorod City Council.

It is planned that the main funds will come from the state subvention, and the unused funds will go for the development of infrastructure and city needs. This amount will be about 50 million a year. Provision is also made for cash compensation instead of transport privileges. In addition, the e-ticket system will be launched very soon in Uzhgorod.
