The regional exhibition and contest of aircraft and armored vehicle models has recently opened on the second floor of the International Airport "Uzhgorod". Works of Transcarpathian schoolchildren, the regional center of scientific and technical creativity, as well as models from private collections are exhibited among the dozens of miniature planes and tanks. The exhibition is timed to the 70th anniversary of the victory over Nazism in Europe, the Day of Remembrance and Reconciliation.
The model exhibition has been held on the second floor of Uzhgorod airport for more than 20 years, an average of three times a year. Its participants are modelers with over several decades of experience, the deputy director of the International Airport "Uzhgorod" Valeriy Gangura told the reporter of the Uzhgorod.in.
