Mobilized soldiers were taught how to deal with dangerous objects (PHOTOS)

 Yesterday, September 6, pyrotechnics of the Special rescue unit of the State Emergencies Service of Ukraine Office in Transcarpathian region conducted sessions with the operational and combat border guard commandant of Chop border guard detachment, the press service of Transcarpathian rescuers informed. The classes were held at the military range in Orikhovytsya village in Uzhgorod district. 

The head of the bomb squad Serhiy Shalayenko delivered a lecture to the mobilized soldiers of the State Border Guard Service, who are training here, and soon will go to protect the borders. He told the guys about the classification of ammunition and showed replicas of the main types of munitions (artillery shells, mortar shells, grenades, etc.). In addition, soldiers were shown algorithm of actions in case of detection of dangerous items and were explained the procedure of neutralization of explosive devices.

Also during the exercise, the mobilized soldiers were visited by specialists in emergency medicine. Medics showed on a dummy how to assess the condition of the victim, worked out with soldiers practical skills for proper immobilization, external cardiac massage, artificial respiration, and told how to provide first aid using improvised means.
