Due to the intensification of activities of smugglers and illegal migrants at the border, as evidenced by the fact that this year border guards of the Mukachevo Detachment prevented more than 60 attempts of smuggling (compared to about 30 for the same period last year) and seized more than 300 thousand packs of cigarettes (compared to about 100 thousand the last year), it was decided to reinforce the detachment with mobile teams. According to the members of these groups, they are sent to difficult sections of the border, but they are ready to take decisive measures. Mobile teams are provided with vehicles and special equipment, such as mobile thermal imaging systems that allow you to see potentials offender at the distance of up to 14 kilometers. So, border guards assure that they will make the life of smugglers very hard.
