The war in eastern Ukraine once again stirred Mizhhirya district with a tragic news. Last Friday, in the combat zone, near Avdiyivka in Donetsk region, during the shelling of our military positions, a resident of Synevyr Serhiy Tsimbota was killed by an enemy mortar shell explosion.
The brave soldier was almost 30 years old, he had been serving in the Ukrainian army for two years under contract. He had spent only a week and a half at the place, where his life ended, performing duties of both a medic and a rifleman.
After the death of the defender of the Fatherland, his minor child became an orphan.
Five natives of Mizhhirya district have lost their lives fighting with separatists and Russian aggression: Ruslan Rushchak (26 years), Oleksandr Ihnatyshyn (23 years), Victor Markus (44 years) and Vasyl Rosokha (22), the Zakarpattya online reminds.
