Three border guards died because of falling of the aircraft Diamond DA-42 which belongs to the State Border Guard Service in Transcarpathia – informs the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The tragedy occurred on July 4 near the village of Ruskyi Mochar in Velykyi Bereznyi district of Transcarpathian region. The plane carried out the flyover of the state border in mountainous areas.
480 individuals and 25 items of equipment, including 90 people from the MOE, 13 items on equipment and helicopter M-8 were engaged in the rescue works.
The cause and circumstances of the plane crash is under investigation.
