“Miss Uzhgorod – 2013” sold the camcorder and the trip to Europe presented to her at the competition

"Miss Uzhgorod – 2013" Anastasia Kostich presented reporters the social project which she launches in Uzhgorod and told more about herself.

Anastasia is studying at UzhNU and in Kosice (Slovakia) simultaneously, and is going to receive 2 degrees in the field of international relations. She plans to continue studying abroad.

The social project launched by the winner is designed to help children with cancer and diabetes. According to Anastasia, every citizen of the city will be able to participate in this project. To do this, photos of children and their drawings will be displayed in public places. "I want people to see how hard it is when you’re sick, how hard it is for parents. And to feel that they can help make their smiles happy"- Anastasia says. Her project will start soon.

To start the project, Miss Uzhgorod sold all the gifts that she had received during the contest (including the camcorder and trip to Europe), and she will donate the money to children. In the implementation of the project, she hopes for support of parents and businessmen of the city.
