Migration Service claim they do not delay the issuance of passports

In Ukraine there are no problems with issuance of travel passports. This was stated by the State Migration Service. The Service have been issuing passports since January 2, 2013. "In early January there were isolated cases of short (up to 3 days) delays in issuing documents under applications made before 01.01.2013 relating to the delivery of affairs from MIA to the State Migration Service of Ukraine," – quote from the statement. As of now, subdivisions of the migration service accept citizens’ applications for issuance of documents for traveling abroad, including for urgent (within 10 days) issuance, and also issue passports under applications submitted before 01.01.2013. As you know, as of January 1, in Ukraine biometric passports have been issued.
