During a briefing in Uzhgorod, Volodymyr Zelensky commented on the government’s ban on working abroad.
He stated that Ukraine will not block the workers’ travels abroad, provided that the receiving country concludes a contract for work for at least three months.
"We do not block anything… We let citizens to go work are abroad – provided that we are presented with a copy of the contract with a person for at least three months of work," – the president said.
Volodymyr Zelensky said that many countries had sent requests for Ukrainian workers. Among them – Germany, Italy, Finland, Poland.
"When a country that contacts us via diplomatic relations undertakes to provide our citizens with housing and health insurance, we can be sure that if anything happens to our citizen, he or she will not be thrown out," – the president emphasized.
