Migrant workers transferred to Ukraine 4.3 billion U. S. dollars

Last year, 4.3 billion dollars were transferred to Ukraine. This figure was published by UNIAN with reference to the official site of the National Bank of Ukraine. Meanwhile, transfers from Ukraine amounted to 737 million dollars. Within the country, 21.568 billion hryvnias and 12 million dollars (equivalent) were transferred.

By the way, according to the World Bank, global remittances from workers employed outside their home countries in 2012 amounted to 406 billion dollars, which is 6.5% more than the last year’s figure.
