Memorial sign “The Flame of Peace” was established in Chop

Chop city authorities, Honorary Citizens – Sulima VV and Balog II, descendants of the royal Austrian family Gertha Margaret and Sandor Habsburg-Lothringen unveiled in the city the memorial sign "The Flame of Peace", – Chop City Council reported.

– This memorial sign is a reminder that you must always think about peace. And not only think, but also speak and act. It is supposed to give the mayor and all the people, who work for the city, strength and inspiration to do everything possible for peace, – Gertha Margaret Habsburg-Lothringen said.

Finally, the descendants of the Austrian royal family Gertha Margaret and Sandor Habsburg-Lothringen gave medals for significant contribution to the work of the International Association "The Flame of Peace" to five Transcarpathians: Valeriy Samardak, Fedir Kharuta, Mykola Palinchak, Vasyl Husti, Igor Hizhan.
