Today, at the session of Uzhgorod city council, the deputies decided to allocate funds to establish memorial plates to the fallen participants of the ATO. 35 deputies voted for this decision.
100,000 UAH was allocated for making of eight monuments. They will be for the soldiers that are buried in Kalwaria, near the memorial of Glory.
In addition, members of the City Council increased the total expenditures under the Program of the support of the antiterrorist operation participants in 2015, approved by the decision of the XXVII session City Council of the VI convocation dd. February 19, 2015 № 1628 to 1.1 million.
The funds will be allocated for the purchase of real property and equipment, spare parts to repair military equipment, current repair and maintenance of weapons and military equipment, services on transportation of military personnel to the ATO area, the purchase of fuel and lubricants, manufacture and installation of gravestones, purchase of engineering and special property (generators, thermal imagers, chainsaws, cables), means of communications (radios), optical devices (night sights, night vision binoculars), low-value non-current assets, materials for maintenance of barracks.
