Measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus have been approved in Transcarpathia

Measures to prevent and counteract the spread of the coronavirus in Transcarpathia were discussed in the regional regional state administration.
First of all, the existing quarantine restrictions must be observed. The police will tighten control and conduct regular raids. Today, they will start conducting checks on:
✔ observance of self-isolation rules by Transcarpathians, inspection of restaurants:
➡ only takeaway services and terraces are allowed;
➡ mass events indoors – weddings, memorial services, etc. – are prohibited;
✔ observance of the quarantine restrictions by carriers:
➡ only passengers sitting in vacant seats can ride in public transport;
➡ wearing protective masks is mandatory;
➡ regular disinfection of the vehicle must be carried out.
Minimum penalty for violating quarantine restrictions is 17,000 hryvnias.
Epidemiologists also recommended to check compliance with self-isolation rules by persons that have contacted the infected and COVID-19 patients being treated at home.
If the situation does not improve, quarantine restrictions may be tightened, in particular, restrictions on public transport: all time or on weekends.
