During the past week, as of November 29, 168 cases of measles have been registered, which is 13% less than that in the previous week (168 against 193 cases). Among the infected people, children under 17 years old make up 74% (124 cases), adults – 26% (44 cases).
According to the available data, out of 168 patients, 69% have not been vaccinated against measles, and 13% have not completed vaccination complex.
Since the beginning of 2018, 4,147 cases of measles have been registered. 3,301 patients are children under 17 years old (80%) and 846 are adults (20%).
Measles have been registered in all administrative territories of the region, however, the most cases are in the city of Mukachevo – 20 cases, Mukachevo district – 20, the city of Uzhgorod – 21, Tyachiv – 35, Irshava – 16, and Rakhiv district – 13 cases.
