May conscience of Transcarpathia (Announcement)

On May 25, in the Archaeological Museum named after Eduard Balahuri, there will be a literary event in memory of Petro Skunts "When I was May in the world."

Recall that Petro Skunts was born on May 20, 1942 in the town of Mizhhirya in Transcarpathia in a peasant family, he was the ninth child in the family. 

On May 3 this year, members of the regional Writers’ Union of Ukraine, teachers of UzhNU, journalists laid flowers and lit candles at the tomb of the famous writer, the winner of the Shevchenko Prize Petro Skunts. April 30 marks eight years since the death of the known Transcarpathian writer and public figure.
