Maxim Magula won two medals at the U23 World Wheelchair Fencing Championship (PHOTOS)

The U23 World Wheelchair Fencing Championship took place in the United Arab Emirates in the city of Sharjah. 

Transcarpathian Maxim Magula was competing as a member of the national team of Ukraine. And our athlete won two medals: silver – in epee, bronze – in foil.

"This is the second successful participation in such competitions for Maxim. In 2018, at the World Cup, which took place in Polish Warsaw, Maxim also won two medals. In Sharjah, the competitions with two types of weapons took place in one day, which made them more difficult for athletes", – Oksana Rapynets, the coach of Transcarpathian Paralympics said. 

Recall that Max’s coaches are Oksana Rapynets, Hennadiy Yanovsky and Emilia Madyar-Fazekash.
