Market of Languages in Uzhgorod

On Saturday, July 27, from 12.00 to 21.00, the "Market of Languages" Festival will be held on Narodna Square in Uzhgorod. It is a public event organized by the Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine in conjunction with the Social Project for Learning Foreign Languages Lingva Skills at the initiative of the Student Council at the Ministry. 

To promote learning foreign languages among students and youth of the regional center of Transcarpathia, during the day, there will an exhibition of educational services providers, master classes, English language tests, demonstration and screening of films with discussion on the stage, an intellectual game championship in English, conversational clubs, children’s entertainment area, etc. The participation in the festival is free of charge. 
The main event of the day, according to the organizers, is the training "Learning a foreign language", which will explore the difference between the communicative method and the natural assimilation of the language by human brain (during the training, they will demonstrate real scientific and practical examples). 
The guest of the event, during the festive concert, will be the frontman of the band "Mandry" Serhiy Fomenko with a special program that motivates young people to promote their mother tongue in society and among foreigners in particular. 
The event is to be attended by regional and city officials, representatives of the Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine, the Association of Innovative and Digital Education, psycholinguist and polyglot, the author of the largest educational project in Ukraine Lingva Skills, Vitaliy Zubkov, etc.
