Make a charm for Christmas with you own hands! (Announcement)

Christmas wreath is not just a decoration, it is a family talisman, a symbol of hope for happiness, prosperity and abundance, as well as invitation for guests.

All peoples have traditions associated with wreaths. For example, a wreath adorns the bride’s head on the day when she marries; wreaths are used to greet dear guests and to bury the dead. It has acquired a new ritual significance as part of religious celebrations.

What does Christmas wreath symbolize? The round shape of a wreath is associated with infinity. Evergreen conifers used for its making symbolize eternal life. Colors that adorn the product are also significant. Bells on Christmas wreaths are designed to ward off evil spirits. In ancient Slavs, wreath likely symbolized infinity of the ancentry and protection against the dark forces. In Greek mythology, wreaths are associated with gods of Olympus.
