During the presentation of Volodymyr Havryliuk as the new prosecutor of Transcarpathia, the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko, in addition to the taks, such as the fight against contraband, including wood, and misuse of budget funds, set a goal – the restoration of public trust through cleaning of their ranks. He stressed that declaration on assets and integrity should be published on the prosecution office site as soon as possible and, if any inconsistencies are found, the officers in questions will be fired.
As for the forest, he once again remarked: the fight aganst unauthorized felling has just begun and will not stop until there is a result.
And after that, the new regional prosecutor Volodymyr Havryliuk told about himself: he has worked at prosecutor’s offices since July 1998, occupied various positions, before this appointment – since February this year – he worked at the specialized anti-corruption prosecutor’s office. He says he owns only the property stated in the declaration.
And next Monday, at 12.00, he will hold reception of citizens.
