Today, March 22, there was a regional conference of the Transcarpathian Regional Branch of the "Batkivshchyna" party, where they elected delegates from the region to the Congress of the party for nominating a presidential candidate.
They elected 6 delegates, namely the head of the regional branch of the "Batkivshchyna" party Oleksandr Kemenyash, the head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Valeriy Lunchenko, the head of the "Batkivshchyna" faction in the Regional Council Anton Livrints, a representative of Mizhhirya district Andriy Sheketa, a representative of Khust district Ivan Rohach and a representative of Mukachevo district Oleksandr Peresta.
In addition to the election of delegates, the participants of the conference listened to the speech of Valeriy Lunchenko, who told his fellow party members about the situation in the region and asked for support in his work.
According to preliminary information, the nationwide Congress of the "Batkivshchyna" party to nominate a presidential candidate is to be held next Saturday in Kyiv.
