Lunchenko: the money for the support of the Transcarpathian soldiers must be distributed as efficiently as possible

To this end, on Wednesday, July 2, they established a working group with the appropriate 
supervisory board on the distribution of the money coming in to support the Transcarpathian 
territorial defense battalion. 

Local executive bodies and local authorities are conducting an information campaign for logistical 
support of the battalion. Anyone willing can help the personnel, money is coming in daily. 
To ensure that all the funds are used effectively for the needs of the soldiers, it was decided to 
establish a working group, which includes 29 people: representatives of all districts, NGOs and the 
media. 

Today, the most relevant issue is the repair in the barracks where the territorial defense battalion 
will be stationed (Mukachevo), so it was decided that the money will be spent for bringing the 
premises to good conditions. 

– Local councils continue to collect sponsorship and donations. The money that has already been 
collected – and this is 30 to 300 thousand hryvnias – must be used transparently and efficiently for the 
needs of the territorial defense battalion. Our boys should be provided with all necessities – Valeriy 
Lunchenko said.
