Lunchenko: I have nothing to do with the appointment of Turday

Commenting on the personnel policy in the region regarding new appointments, the head of the RSA said that the infamous appointment of the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Office in Transcarpathian region Vasyl Turday had been made without his involvement. Despite rumors that he lobbied for the appointment of his countryman to an important position, Lunchenko said, "It happened before my appointment". He also said that the appointment of the new prosecutor had not been agreed with him either.

He also said: Let them appoint people from Kyiv, so that a person work well.

Recall that recently Transcarpathian Regional Council adopted a decision whereby they appealed to the central government with the demand to appoint all officials in the region after consultation with deputies and the public.

By the way, Mykhailo Rivis, the new deputy of Lunchenko, is also a native of Khust district as well as Valeriy Lunchenko.
