On Friday, June 12, after 16.00, Stanitsia Luhanska was shelled with automatic grenade launchers. Our positions were fired from Chervony Yar that on the right bank of the Siversky Donets (the village on the occupied side opposite Stanitsia).
This was reported by the head of Luhansk regional military-civilian administration Hennadiy Moskal:
"Unfortunately, there were losses. A 43-year-old soldier was fatally wounded in the shelling and died on the spot. Another soldier (29 years old) was wounded and taken to hospital. Wounds are not serious, there is no threat to his life. Both fighters are soldiers of the 128th Brigade," – Moskal said.
He added that fighting with machine guns and grenade launchers in Stanitsia continued all night. Heavy weapons was not used, there is not information about victims or destructions.
