The results of the local elections in Uzhgorod were known on Friday, October 30. But because of a fierce pressure on the chairman and members of the TEC, they could no sign protocols. This was announced at a press conference by the chairman of the City Election Commission Yakiv Chernobuk.

According to him, there were even threats against members of the commission. However, Chernobuk refused to say who threatened whom and for what reasons. He said only that the final protocols, as a result of that, are signed not by all members of the TEC.

Meanwhile, Uzhgorod activist Yevhen Rakhimov says that he knows who was making threats. On his page on Facebook, he wrote: "…Pressure was exerted by members of the city organization of the European Party of Ukraine. Namely: Voloshin II, Brodi O, Nimenko A. By threats of physical violence and by bribery. Mr. Voloshin committed illegal actions against the members of the counting commission demanding to rig results in favor of the European Party of Ukraine."

In addition to the list of the parties elected to Uzhgorod city council of the new convocation, the city election commission announced the list of names of new deputies.
