Local budgets of Transcarpathia: minus 16 million

The situation with local budgets in Transcarpathia is catastrophic. Thus, the general fund revenue shortfall for the first eight months of this year is 16,611,000 UAH. In general, local budgets are filled by 97.7 percent. The absolute outsider is the city of Beregovo. Here, only 78 percent of the target revenue have been received, the shortfall is over 5 million hryvnias. It is followed by Chop where the shortfall amounts to almost 1,700,000 UAH (86 percent).   In Velyky Berezny district 93.7 percent of revenue have been received, the budget lacks 619,000 UAH.

Uzhgorod has also underperformed. Of the planned 142,712,000 UAH, the budget received only 125,681,000 UAH. The underperformance is 6,278,000 UAH. The budget has received 95.6 percent of the target revenue.

The overperformance in terms of revenues to local budgets in Transcarpathia was recorded in Perechyn district – by 114 percent, Tyachiv district – 113 percent and Svalyava district – 107 percent.
