Local budget received almost UAH 9 million for permits for wholesale and retail trade in alcohol and tobacco

Between January and May 2015. undertakings paid UAH 8 million 987 thousand for licenses to wholesale and retail trade in alcoholic beverages and tobacco products. Mostly, this amount of revenue was formed by payments for licenses for retail trade in alcoholic beverages and tobacco – UAH 5 million 987 thousand.

Since the beginning of the yesr, the department of control over traffic and taxation of excisable goods of the Main Office of SFS in Transcarpathian region has issued 2,638 licenses, including 1,513 for retail trade in alcoholic beverages and 1,125 for retail trade in tobacco.

Recall that licenses to retail trade in excisable goods are issued by Taxpayer Service Center at the territorial bodies of the SFS. To receive a license, a taxpayer must submit documents necessary to obtain licenses to sell those products the detailed list of which is posted on notice boards at TSCs.

In January-May 2015, specialists of the Main Office of the SFS in Transcarpathian region made 337 orders for revocation of licenses, including 177 for alcohol and 160 for tobacco.
