The emergency situation at the Andriyivske Lake in the village of Andriyivka of Irlyava village council was discussed at the meeting of the commission on technogenic and ecological security and emergency situations of the Uzhgorod district state administration.
During the regular examination of the water level at Andriyivske Reservoir it was found out that long-term operation of the well and the reservoir mine spillway led to the destruction of the well concrete structure, which can lead to flooding of Irlyava village council area, namely settlements of Irlyava, Chabanivka, Andriyivka.
Failure to take urgent measures to restore water control construction could lead to emergency situation. So, Deputy Chairman of the DSA Anatoly Chernichenko proposed to order the appropriate project of the repair of water control structures. Also they will review issues of proper maintenance of the facilities with subsequent transfer thereof under specialized management.
