“Let’s play together: Ukraine”: children’s music ensembles will perform Beethoven’s “Ode to Joy” in Kyiv (Announcement)

The All-Ukrainian festival-contest of children’s ensembles and string orchestras "Let’s Play Together: Ukraine" will take place in the city of Kyiv on May 30, 2019

The organizer of the festival-contest is Association of the Ukrainian string teachers "ESTA-Ukraine"

The purpose of the festival-contest:

promotion of violin and cello art, increasing interest in string instruments, identification and support of creatively gifted children, deepening of creative connections between the regions of Ukraine, exchange of creative achievements and experience on issues of music pedagogy and performance.

Participants of the festival-contest:

small ensembles (duets, trio, quartets), ensembles of violinists, chamber orchestras of art schools.

Nominations:

– duo, trio;

– ensemble (4 or more participants);

– chamber orchestra.

Age categories (average age of the participants):

junior – up to 11 years old;

senior – 12 to 16 years old;

mixed category.
