Let’s go to the Goverla!

We are invited to the Open hike. And not just anywhere, but to the highest mountain in Ukraine.

Tourinform Transcarpathia organizes a real adventure. Here are the details:

"On August 2, the tourist club "Tourinform Transcarpathia", during the twelfth Open Hike plans to conquer the highest peak of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Carpathians, and to celebrate the first birthday of the "Open hikes" project! 

The hike will start from the hostel "Zaroslyak" (Ivano-Frankivsk region, the village of Vorokhta, Hoverlyanska str., 31), which is at an altitude of 1330 masl. With favorable weather conditions, we will descend to the village of Lazeshchyna (Rakhiv district, Transcarpathia). In other circumstances, the route ends at the hostel "Zaroslyak."

Difficulty: HARD

The hike will take place only under favorable weather conditions!

00:00 Departure from Uzhgorod
August 2 
6:00 arrival at the hostel "Zaroslyak"
6:30 start of the ascend
10:00-11:00 rest on the top, photo shoot, dinner (individual)
15:30 return to the hostel "Zaroslyak" / 17:00 descent to the village of Lazeshchyna.
Back to Uzhgorod.

The main group starts from Uzhgorod. Seats are limited!

Participants will travel by a rented bus.

Price – 175 UAH per person!  

 

Meals, personal expenses are not included.

  

The main group departs from Uzhgorod, from the hotel "Zakarpattya".

The meeting of the participants is at 23:30.

 

Be sure to take an ID. Our route runs along the border area.

It is forbidden to participate for individuals who are mentally unstable, having problems with musculoskeletal system and cardiovascular system (rapid ascent and descent) and diabetic!

Take personal medicine and elastic bandage!

Trekking / ski poles are recommended.
