January 17 (16.00), on the stage of the community center in the village of Zarichovo in Perechyn district, the recently created Transcarpathian regional folk theater "LEMko" (Lemko ethnic art) presents the premiere of the play "The Star of Bethlehem" by the book of Transcarpathian writer Vasyl Mulesa.
According to Vasyl Mulesa, the head of the Transcarpathian Society "Lemko" and one of the founders of the theater, the play employs more than 20 actors. However, they are not professionals but amateurs who know the subject. The author of the play is also the director.
Recall that the new drama theater in Transcarpathia was created late last year by intellectuals and representatives of the creative elite from the city of Uzhgorod, Uzhgorod, Velyky Berezny and Perechyn districts. The Drama Theater is based in the community center in the village of Zarichovo in Perechyn district. Vasyl Mulesa says that this settlement was chosen not randomly, as this village is considered to be the "capital" of Transcarpathian Lemko.
