Legalization in Transcarpathia: 293 people have been officially employed

Those Transcarpathians have received a "hired" record in their workbooks during January-February of 2014.

In particular, since the beginning of 2014, the State Tax Inspectorates in Transcarpathian region have revealed 293 unregistered employees. Employment relationships with those workers were not registered as prescribed by law. Upon completion of all required procedures, the citizens now are able to work legally and with all the guarantees, and the budget received 33,600 UAH of individuals income tax and 69,800 UAH of the single contribution for obligatory state social insurance.

According to experts of the Ministry of Income in Transcarpathia, formal employment and abolition of paying wages "in envelopes" has been achieved through meetings, interviews and other activities with managers and private entrepreneurs – employers on compliance with the Labor Code of Ukraine and the Tax Code of Ukraine.

Legalization of employment and protection of public interests in the observance of labor legislation by employers is one of the priorities of local authorities of the Ministry of Income – specialists of the Main Office of the Ministry of Income in Transcarpathian region reported.
