Ledyda plans to use 23 million UAH by the end of the year

Status of development of public money for the region’s needs was discussed during the meeting on Thursday, September 20. The meeting was attended by the head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Oleksandr Ledyda, his deputy Volodymyr Prikhodko, chief financial expert of the region Petro Lazar, head of Capital Construction Stepan Bordash, representatives of the districts of the region.

Under the State Regional Development Fund this year Transcarpathia must receive more than 23 million UAH. Today, the region has received more than 12 million, half of them have been used. Currently, work is being done at nine sites. The bulk of the money is planned to use on health care – the construction of surgical department building in the Regional Hospital in Uzhgorod, tuberculosis hospital in Tyachiv district, reconstruction of the building of the regional center of neurosurgery and neurology, construction of obstetrics and gynecology department building in Rakhiv.

   – By the end of the year we must use all the funds from the State Regional Development Fund. If we do not do that, every unused penny will return back to the state treasury. This we can not allow, because the money is needed in the region, we are going to use it only for the most basic needs – primarily health care and education, – said the head of the region. Oleksandr Ledyda instructed the profile agencies to prepare appropriate proposals on redistribution to the Cabinet.
