Ledyda is one of the largest landowners among “governors”

19 of 25 governors disclosed their tax returns, Zakarpattya online informs citing the Pohlyad. Tax returns of heads of Volyn, Zhytomyr, Odesa, Kirovohrad, Luhansk regions, and the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Crimea are unavailable.

The largest revenues in 2012 were received by the mayor of Kharkiv Hennadiy Kernes – 13.6 million hryvnias, Lutsk Mayor Mykola Romaniuk – 10 million hryvnias, Odesa Mayor Oleksiy Kostusev – 1 million hryvnias.

Governors are poorer than mayors. The richest Head of Kharkiv Regional State Administration Mykhailo Dobkin has 10.6 million hryvnias of gross income for 2012. The second and third places are occupied by the Head of Cherkasy Regional State Administration Serhiy Tulub with 1.5 million hryvnias and Mykolayiv region Governor Mykola Kruglov – 1.3 million hryvnias.

The highest salaries of mayors and governors exceed the lowest ones by 2.5-3 times. The highest salary was paid to Simferopol Mayor Viktor Aheyev – 261,700 UAH, and the lowest one – to the mayor of Odesa Oleksiy Kostusev – 83,000 UAH. Ternopil Mayor Serhiy Nadal in 2012 received for his work 11,814 UAH.

The lowest salary was paid to the richest Kharkiv region Governor Mykhailo Dobkin – only 80,300 UAH in 2012, and the highest-paid governor is the Governor of Lviv region Vitaly Shemchuk – his annual salary is 199,300 UAH.   The Governor of Ternopil region Valentyn Hoptyan in 2012 received for his work 10,940 UAH.

Two financially most successful governors have income from dividends and interest.

Of 10.6 million hryvnias of the Head of Kharkiv Regional State Administration Dobkin’s yearly income, more than 10 million hryvnias are dividends and interest. Nearly 950,000 hryvnias, out of 1 million hryvnias earned by the Head of Mykolayiv RSA Kruglov in 2012, were received from dividends and interest.

Mayors and governors also receive material support. Despite the hefty paycheck, mayors and heads of regional state administration do not mind receiving material support. Those are heads of Khmelnytsky, Ternopil, Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administrations and mayors of Uzhgorod, Ternopil, Kirovohrad, Ivano-Frankivsk, as well as the acting mayor of Chernivtsi. The Mayor of Ternopil Serhiy Nadal in 2012 received 15,789 UAH of financial assistance. The Governor of Ternopil region Valentyn Hoptyan – 12,056 UAH

The largest landowners are governors and their families in Khmelnytsky region (522,700 square meters), Transcarpathian region (372,400 square meters), Ternopil region (101,200 square meters).
