The head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Oleksandr Ledyda approved the Program of the activity of regional non-government organizations which need social protection in 2013.
Nine NGOs over the year will receive a little over 734 thousand hryvnias. In particular, the regional council of veterans – 100,000, Transcarpathian Regional Organization of the Ukrainian organization of disabled veterans and soldiers and the regional association of disabled people – 50,000 each, the regional organization "Society of Transcarpathian volunteers – war veterans" – 45,000, Regional Union of War Veterans – 120,000, Regional Organization of the Ukrainian society of political prisoners and repressed – 46,000, regional organization "Chernobyl Union of Ukraine" – 70,000, Regional Branch of All-Ukrainian association of veterans – 115,000, the territorial organization of the Ukrainian Union of Afghan War Veterans (soldiers-internationalists) – 138,000.
The control over the performance of the program and the expenditure of funds will be carried out by the department of information activities and public relations of the RSA.
