The Transcarpathian officials are preparing for the Basic Law anniversary celebration. Governor Alexandr Ledyda has already created the organizational committee which is headed by his deputy Anton Gromovyi and allocated 18 thousand hryvnia on the celebration.
Governor signed the resolution ‘On the 16th Constitution of Ukraine celebration’ on May 28. The ceremonial events will be held at the expense of the regional program ‘The public participation ensuring in the state policy formulation and implementation and the public opinion study’.
It was entrusted to arrange the prominent figures of Ukraine monuments and memorials and to conduct the ceremonial events to the organizational committee. The governor plans to ‘organize scientific and practical conferences, seminars and round table meetings on the Ukrainian constitutionalism development, the history of the national state’ at educational institutions during vacations and holidays.
