The hub is located in the library of Vynogradiv Secondary School No. 3
Vynogradiv Secondary Cchool No. 3 was selected to participate in the British Council’s project "The School as a Center for Social Cohesion and Community Sustainability". Thus, the Council seeks to support the reform of the secondary school. The Learning Hub – a space for community engagement – was established as part of the project.
The head of the hub is English teacher Natalia Kolozhvari. She was trained under the the British Council’s project and has mastered new technologies in training. And now, thanks to TAG_Vynohradiv, she is sharing her knowledge with colleagues.
The newly created hub hosts trainings for teachers on the topics of professional development, key skills of the 21st century, socially important issues. They also work with the city residents to teach them how to write social grant projects at up to UAH 15,000. And soon the hub will be receive copies of English-language books, and every visitor will be able to use them.
A similar hub is successfully operating in the village of Dovhe in Irshava district. There, they teach children programming, financial literacy, and screen documentary films. In addition to Transcarpathia, similar projects are being implemented in the eastern regions of Ukraine. Their main goal is to support the ability of schools to effectively conduct the educational process and to make young people more active in the field of social activity and cohesion.
