Lawsuit for the land worth almost 8 million will be considered in Transcarpathia

The defendants are a local farm and a state-owned enterprise whose managers have entered into an allegedly fictitious contract. 
According to the Press Service of the regional Prosecutor’s Office, the Vynogradiv Department of the Beregovo Local Prosecutor’s Office filed a claim in the interests of the state with the Commercial Court of Transcarpathian Region. It is noted that the defendants in this lawsuit are a local farm and a state-owned enterprise, the managers of which concluded, according to the prosecutor’s office, a fictious contract. 
"In the statement of claim, the prosecutor’s office insists that the disputed contract concluded between the state-owned enterprise that owns the land and the farm is fictious and concealing another transaction – actual lease," – the head of the Beregovo local prosecutor’s office said. 
The signing of this agreement by the parties allowed the farm to use 32.99 hectares of agricultural land free of charge. Its value is more than UAH 7.7 million. Currently, under the filed lawsuit, the proceedings have been opened by the Commercial Court of Transcarpathian Region.
