On June 6, in the evening, the police received a report of an accident in the village of Mynai in Uzhgorod district. The witness reported that a car "Tavria" had hit a pedestrian and fled.
The investigative team was sent to the scene. As it turned out, the car hit not a pedestrian but a bicyclist – a 37-year-old resident of Munai. The victim was taken to the hospital with a broken leg and head injuries.
The culprit of the accident was found the next day. As the police found out, the cyclist was hit by a 54-year-old resident of Mynaie driving a car "Geely."
Criminal proceedings over this incident have been initiated. The car is detained at the police impound lot.
