Last year they found 2,208 people who worked for envelope wages

Today, February 14, under the direction of the deputy head of the region Mykhailo Popovich there was the meeting of the working group on the legalization of wages and employment. 

Last year, working groups of executive committees, district state administrations inspected 4535 companies. They discovered 2208 people who worked without proper regulation of labor relations. Subsequently, in the employment centers they registered employment contracts with 1879 employees. 

The best results on legalization of wages and employment were achieved by working groups of Rakhiv and Tyachiv districts.   In January this year they performed 404 inspections and found 149 people who worked without employment contracts.

 – The question of legalization of wages and employment remains relevant and crucial. Because Transcarpathians often work without any agreements, without any social security, lose their insurance. For their part, employers themselves should bear responsibility for this issue, because paying salaries "in envelopes" is a violation of the law, – Mykhailo Popovich concluded.
