Kolesnichenko’s ‘language’ bill was supported by one deputy from Transcarpathia, when other three were against.
Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the ‘language’ bill of Kolesnichenko-Kivalov at the first reading today.
234 deputies voted in support of the bill, which significantly narrows the sphere of Ukrainian language use. According to the Zakarpattia Online preliminary information, only the Regional Party representative Sergei Moshak among the Transcarpathian deputies gave his voice in the support of this anti Ukrainian in its nature legislative initiative. The deputies from the ‘Yedynyi Tsentr’ party Igor Kril and Vasyl Petiovka and the representative of the ‘Batkivshchyna’ party Olexandr Kemeniash voted against this bill adoption.
