"Kyivstar" launched 3G-network in the most western regional center of Ukraine – Uzhgorod – and its suburbs. This is the 13th consecutive regional center of the country that is covered by the 3G network.
As of September 2, residents and visitors of Transcarpathia – Uzhgorod and suburbs – have access to the services in the third generation network. Along with the regional center, nearby villages – Mynai, Storozhnytsia, Onokivtsi, Rozivka, Kontsovo – are also connected to the 3G.
In Transcarpathian region, 3G-network already covers 16 settlements: previously "Kyivstar" began to provide services in 10 settlements of the region, including the border cities of Beregovo, Solotvyno, Nyzhnya Apsha. There, users have been enjoying high-speed Internet since early July.
The total number of towns and villages of Ukraine, which are already covered by 3G, has increased to 291 and the number of regional centers – to 13. The number of settlements of Ukraine, where the network has been opened or is undergoing technical testing, has reached 338.
