Krehul: “We are ready to thank that you have been tolerating us on our posts and resign under the law on lustration”

When asked by the public about his work and possible abuses, during the coordination meeting at the Prosecution Office in the region, the head of Transcarpathian Court of Appeal Mykola Krehul said: "I started working as a lawyer back in Brezhnev’s time. I know that the law on lustration is being prepared now. If it affects me, I am ready to thank you for having tolerated me on my post, and resign. I’m not 30 and not 40, I do not hold to the position."

Currently, at the law enforcement conference, the speech of the judge, who spoke about public participation in court hearings that he considered inappropriate, caused most emotions and questions.

Among other things, the judge stated that if one expects justice from the court, one must also be just to the court, and the court now has no money even for stamps for envelopes.
